Datura is an Italian group formed in 1991 in Bologna, Italy, by the musicians Ciro Pagano (ex-member and founder of the Italian electro pop group Gaznevada, one of the most importants in the 80's) and Stefano Mazzavillani (musician and arranger of more famous italian pop-singers in the 80's) In the beginning they collaborate with two importants DJs: Cirillo and DJ Ricci. Key releases appeared on Trance Records, Time Label, Irma Records. The lineup included Amparo Fidalgo, Stefano Mazzavillani, Ciro Pagano, Carlo Andrea Raggi.
